Delete your data
Parchi Books (by Saada Labs LLC) has no user accounts, so there is no account to close. Your data lives in up to three places, and you can delete it from each one yourself.
Before you start: deleting is permanent. If you might need these records for taxes, export them first from Settings → Your Data → Export Schedule C-Ready Package or Settings → Backup → Save a Copy.
1. On your phone
- Open Parchi Books and go to Settings → Your Data.
- Tap Delete All Local Data and confirm. This erases every receipt, photo and setting, and destroys the encryption key.
- Optionally, delete the app from your phone.
To delete only some receipts, delete them in History, then delete them permanently in History → Deleted. Anything left there is removed automatically after 30 days.
2. Your backup (if you turned it on)
Backups are stored in your own iCloud or Google Drive, so you delete them there.
iPhone and iPad (iCloud)
- In Parchi Books, go to Settings → Backup and turn off Back Up to iCloud.
- Open the iPhone Settings app → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage).
- Choose Parchi Books and tap Delete Data from iCloud.
Android (Google Drive)
- In Parchi Books, go to Settings → Backup, tap the connected account and choose Disconnect.
- On a computer, open drive.google.com → Settings (gear icon) → Manage apps.
- Find Parchi Books, open Options and choose Delete hidden app data.
Disconnecting also removes Parchi Books’ access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
3. On our servers
We don’t store your receipts or anything that identifies you. The only records we hold are scan counts kept against a random install ID, used to apply your monthly allowance and prevent abuse. They are deleted automatically within 70 days, and no request is needed.
Your subscription history is held by Apple or Google and by our subscription provider, RevenueCat. To have the RevenueCat record deleted, email [email protected] and tell us which store you bought from and roughly when. We will confirm once it’s done. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their privacy policies.
Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play account; see Support.
